Welcome to Mr. Demos' Classroom Website
Hello! My name is Mr. Demos and I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and having a great year at Haven Middle School. This year we will be covering a range of topics dealing with U.S. History and Social Studies. You will also have the opportunity to do a number of different activities including webquests, projects, and analyzing a variety of primary and secondary source material.
Students:
For homework help email me at [email protected]. For you kids out there looking for homework help after 3:30 p.m., email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can, or stay after school for some extra help. Any email sent past 8 p.m. will most likely not be answered until the following morning. Still most students get a response within an hour of emailing! Keep in mind, I will make time for you to make sure that you are successful but that requires you putting in the work as well.
Parents:
You can email me all day at [email protected] and typically I will get back to you within the day. However, there are times this process can take longer due to the nature of some questions. I encourage you to use this website and the classroom pages to stay current on your child's homework and to find out what they have been learning in class. You can use the "classroom resources" page to help find extra links that you may find useful.
Checking Grades:
Students can use the SISK12 button at the top of the page to check their grades; they should use their school passwords. Please encourage your child to check his/her grades, it's a great way to create more of a continued investment into their education.
